SISTERHOOD

Sisterhood is an organization of the women of our Congregation who band together for fellowship and friendship.   We engage in activities to benefit our Temple, Jewish organizations and the community.  We offer monthly programs, meetings, luncheons and additional education and social activities.  We are an affiliate of the Women >of Reform Judaism, National Federation of Temple Sisterhoods and support their programs.

The Sisterhood is a channel for the energies of each member, an arena in which to expand and grow in a Jewish atmosphere. 

 

BROTHERHOOD

President:  Bill Kram 

The Temple Beth Shalom Brotherhood is a service focused organization which provides the Temple with both physical and financial assistance.  It is currently comprised of approximately 180 members.  The Brotherhood sponsors various daytime and evening programs for all members of the congregation and guests.  It frequently works in conjunction with the Temple Sisterhood.  Some of its various active committees are Social Action, Ushering, Torah Study Lunchs, Special Events Set Up, Jewish Chautauqua Society and a very active Program Committee. 

The Temple Beth Shalom Brotherhood offers one year free membership to new Temple members.

Sunday May 16th at 9:30am $5 per person, All welcome, bagels & lox .  Board meeting at 11am following the program
